Training Course "OMOLUABI" of the Egbe Aworeni Argentina
The Virtual Training Course is a training opportunity designed specifically for members of the Egbe Aworeni Argentina.
Through an online platform, virtual classes will be offered that will cover the fundamentals of the Yoruba religion, providing theological, practical and philosophical knowledge for the development of the priestly ministry within the traditional Yoruba religion of Ifa and Orisa.
Module 1
CLASS 1: OLODUMARE, ELA
In this class, the figure of Olódùmarè and Ela will be explored within the traditional Yoruba religion, its meaning and its importance in the worldview and beliefs of the Egbe Aworeni.
CLASS 2: ORUNMILA, IFA
This class will focus on the study of Orúnmìlà, addressing his teachings, and his relevance in decision-making and spiritual guidance within the Egbe Aworeni tradition.
CLASS 3: CREATION
In this class, the story of creation will be explored according to the Yoruba tradition, its interpretation within the Egbe Aworeni Argentina and the myths and symbolism associated with the creation of the universe and humanity.
CLASS 4: HISTORY OF ILE IFE, ONI, ARABA AGBAYE
This class will delve into the history of Ile Ife, considered the cradle of the Yoruba civilization, and its relevance to the Egbe Aworeni Argentina. The importance of the figure of the Oni (king of Ife) and the Araba Agbaye (maximum spiritual leader) in the Yoruba tradition and their relationship with the community and spiritual practice will be studied.
CLASS 5: ESU
In this class, the role of Esu in the Yoruba religion and its importance within the Egbe Aworeni Argentina will be analyzed. The different aspects and functions of Esu will be explored.
CLASS 6: YORUBA LANGUAGE
The last class of the module will focus on introducing the participants to the Yoruba language. Basic concepts, the alphabet and grammar will be taught.
EVALUATION OF MODULE I:
Each module will end with a virtual evaluation on the contents covered. The evaluation will be carried out through multiple choice questions. A link will be provided to access the evaluation of the first module from August 25, 2023. It will be necessary to obtain a minimum score of 6 (six) to pass the evaluation. In case of not reaching the minimum score, additional opportunities to take the evaluation will be offered.
Once the module has been approved, the virtual certificate will be sent by email, confirming the approval of the module and granting the right to continue with the next training module.
Each module will be carried out consecutively and will have an individual cost.
START OF MODULE I
Module I will be available from August 7, 2023 through a specific online platform for members of the Egbe Aworeni from Argentina and other countries.
Detailed information will be provided on how to access the platform and start the module.
